Seeking Commercial Loan Assistant to start immediately.
Job Description:
An established, national agricultural loan provider is seeking a full time Commercial Loan Assistant. Individual must be friendly, and service oriented. Duties include performing routine administrative tasks in support of the processing of commercial agricultural mortgage loans. Position requires a minimum 4 year degree and a minimum of 4 years experience as a commercial loan assistant or related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within commercial loan processing. Relies on experienceand judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks independently including ability to review and analyze personal and corporate tax returns / financial statements, satisfying loan conditions, clearing property title issues, ordering appraisals, inputting applicant information into proprietary software, communication with third parties related to loan closing. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Works under some supervision and reports to a supervisor. Many tasks the position is responsible for entails working without direct supervision. Applicant must be capable to tracking their own progress, report that progress, and remain self motivated.
Background Requirements:
- must be able to review, comprehend, and analyze personal and corporate tax returns/financial statements
- must be familiar with commercial loan ratios and have experience processing commercial mortgage loan applications
- must understand the real estate closing process and understand how to review preliminary title reports and manage title and closing conditions
- must be resourceful in obtaining various public documents relating to loan conditions such as UCC-1 financing statements
- must have exceptional organizational skills/communication skills
- must be proficient in use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
